The software engineering team focusses but is not limited to the strategy for the solar car during the competition. As an active member we support a Django API that offers a user interface on the server while also managine multiple organisation IT related responsabilities. Such as server maintenance, wiki management and multiple automations for fellow electrical and mecanical engineers.

My team's area of focus is supporting the roadmap initiatives that cascade from the VPs and find optimal ways to make such projects a success within my business unit. In the last 4 years with TELUS I supported the automation of Guard dispatches with a new provider saving 20% on overall AHT for operations, helped launch a new product on the market TELUS SmartWear Security with over achieving SLAs in the first 3 months and finally I managed to create an automated form for my team to funnel all requests coming from external business units into one place and better organize our workload

My team specilized in live resources management for Canadian operations in the TELUS Security business unit. Most of the work is keeping a health balance by actively modifying frontline agents assignments and meeting targeted SLAs while respecting forecasts and handeling any unexpected events major or minor. As a high performing Workforce Analyst I was part of the scout team that researched new software and helped train the rest of the team to enable a better work experience.
